Summer Interns

At For You Ministries our summer interns are central to what makes us work. You will have the opportunity to learn about God's love, poverty, social injustice, and your gifts and calling. You will be put in positions to lead others, overcome challenges, discover new ideas, grow in your faith, and have fun while you do it! If you want to join us in changing the world, apply now.

What you will do.

  • ​Form relationships with students and create safe spaces for spiritual growth

  • Act as the liaison between the service organizations and our churches

  • Support students and adults while on their mission sites

  • Take pictures of students as they work at their mission sites

  • Ensure all rules are followed by all students and adults

  • Help plan and participate in evening worship experiences

  • Work with other volunteers to set up food, equipment, etc.

  • Lead discussion about issues of poverty and social injustice with a small group

  • Attend virtual training sessions prior to coming

What we need and value

  • One year removed from your high school graduation

  • Clean background check

  • Active member of a Christian faith community

  • Ability to drive your own vehicle to sites

  • Flexibility

  • Patience

  • Servants heart

  • Communication skills

  • Willingness to learn

  • Works well with others

  • Can handle stressful and changing situations
